FAQDo you have any books which are not available on line? YES!!!! We have over 30,000 books and have just recently started listing these books on line. So there are many, many books and authors which we still have to list. Please call us on 07 3349 9739 or send us an email at becsbookshelf@bigpond.com if you have any enquiries and we would be happy to assist in any way we can. What is the condition of your books?
What are your payment methods? Our preferred method of payment is direct deposit. If our bank account details do not appear during checkout, please request bank details and they will be emailed to you. We also accept MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, cheque or money order. PayPal payments can be made to anthony.hawes1@bigpond.com. We will send you an electronic invoice if requested.
Please don't forget to include your postage details, purchase details and a contact phone number. What are your postage and packaging costs? All books are protected and packaged with bubble wrap to help ensure safe postage. We post our books by Australia Post satchels so the price will vary according to Australia Post prices. As an example, 1-2 books will fit in a 500g satchel which costs $5.50. More than 2 books are sent in a 3kg satchel which costs $9.50. Other postage services such as express post and registered post are also available. Please email us if you would like further information or you would like us to obtain a price for international postage (as this is more expensive than domestic postage). Is the book hardcover or paperback? If the word 'hardcover' does not appear in the description then please consider the book a standard size paperback. Do you combine postage? Yes, we love to save you money! Please wait to use checkout when you have finished purchasing books and it should automatically calculate your postage correctly. If the system does not recalculate your postage correctly, please feel free to give us a call or send us an email and we will rectify the situation as soon as possible. I have emailed you a question, why haven’t I received an answer yet? There could be any number of reasons: I could be at work; my internet server is down; I have been inundated by a huge number of email requests (please don’t laugh – this happens on a regular basis)! Seriously though, if you have a question about an item or order and I haven’t responded, please feel free to send me another email to remind me. I do try to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. Will you keep a book on hold for me? It is very important that you advise us if you would like to go ahead with an order. We receive many book enquiries each day and all books remain on sale until a payment or advice of payment is received. We are able to removes the book/s from our online databases upon receipt of payment. If required, we can hold books for a period of one week to allow payment to be made. Do you offer refunds? Customer service and satisfaction are our number one priority! If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it for a full refund of the purchase price within one week of purchase (please note that postage costs are not refundable). We would also appreciate it if you could let us know what the problem is as we are constantly trying to improve our quality, service and customer satisfaction. Thank you. |
